Hello peeps,

A quick, and hopefully painless question. British infantry at Anzio, what colour webbing would they be sporting? The buff/yellow or the pale Green? Or, and combination of both? I know some troops were shipped straight from North Africa to Italy, it's for a BattleBrush commission, so I want to get it right, obviously.
Cheers in advance for any help.

John

From peering at photos, it is a mixture. Some of it is clearly scrubbed (so buff or even lighter) and some of it is clearly the same tone as the uniforms, so KG3 (the later war dark green, not early war pea green).

This will vary on a battalion by battalion basis, you won't get guys in the same platoon or company in a weird mixture of both.
