Hi. For many years I've used Future/Klear then Pledge Multi-Surface Polish as a carrier for 'Magic Wash' however it's now disappeared from the shelves in the UK at Robert Dyas, ASDA, Sainsbury's etc. Looked at Johnson & Johnson manufacturers website and it's no longer listed as a product. You can still pick it up on Ebay and Amazon but the price is creeping up, no doubt due to it becoming obsolete. Any idea of a replacement/similar product? |

I do not have a formula for you, but you could start with acrylic media, add water, a flow agent (like Jet-Dry), and make something like Future. Here are some links to a few TMP threads about Magic Wash: TMP link TMP link TMP link TMP link I am in the USA, so I can not say what Future is called in the UK right now. But check out the "Complete Future" which does list many alternative names. |

It was called Pledge Multi-Surface Polish, but that's gone or going now. |

I agree with Dynaman: It is beastly difficult to keep up with the name changes. The good thing is that one bottle lasts a very long time, and has never gone bad for me, despite years of storage. The best in-store clue is the amazing transparency of the product. Regardless of the name they have made the bottle see-through with the instruction printed on the inside of the front label. Like:

Still available at Walmart, in US, for the time being at least. I picked up a spare bottle yesterday for about $7 USD with tax. |
