My Colours post got taken down pretty quickly and I am so confused as to the rules.

Warfare is on this weekend in Reading, UK. It's really good. You should come.

Redcurrant14 Nov 2019 7:21 a.m. PST

I intend to attend on Saturday, along with a couple of friends

Warfare is one of the better shows on the circuit, and one that I always enjoy going to – although it was better before thr Rivermead centre turned the bar into a non-alcoholic cafe.

Excellent!

Indeed, rest in peace Warfare Beers!

I shall be there as a punter for a change. It'll be nice to have a wander round and chat to friends.

A 'non alcoholic cafe". What fool made that change?

I was really looking forward to it, the last show of the year. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to miss it as I'm now down with Shingles and therefore contagious for a week (mutter, moan…).

I have to look at the positives, I saved a wedge of cash, but somehow that doesn't seem very positive. I suspect that I may do an internet purchase on the day to partly assuage my disappointment.

Hmm, there are a few pubs up by the Caversham bridge if the café has brought in prohibition grin

Have fun folks

I will be there on Sunday, besides shopping I'm also looking forward to visiting the Battlefront boys who are putting on a game.
As I am driving round the M25 and then up the M11 so alcohol is off the menu, but a Nepalese meal is on the to do list.

It's OK as long as you don't mention "new" in your post.

MajorB15 Nov 2019 12:51 a.m. PST

Up the M11? To Reading?

IUsedToBeSomeone15 Nov 2019 2:19 a.m. PST

I'll be there socialising on the Sunday…

My wife may not let me go….I know my rank in this army.
There is mention of roadworks this weekend. 1.5-2hrs from Walworth by train, is it worth it?
Stalag Barkerloo. 🤪😎

MajorB home route from Reading M4 to M25 to M11 junction 7. So no alcohol until I get home.

Hope it went well today and you all found somewhere to park – I'm unfortunately missing it for the first time in more than 10 years.

Saturday was good – an excellent selection of traders, some good looking games and a good pub lunch.
