Very nice to see and read this. I must admit I am very surprised just to the fact it is Rod Stewart. I think I read somewhere that Eric Clapton liked to make model airplanes but I don't really know. |

Lemmy from Motorhead liked to do model planes IIRC. Rod Stewart was on a chat show and they gave him a special edition model loco. He spent the rest of the show looking at it more than the interviewers, just like lots of us would after a new purchase at a show. |

Very impressive! And nice that he builds everything himself. Of course he can afford to buy all the kits and other bits and bobs. But amazing nevertheless. My father was a model railroader so I have a small inkling of what goes into recreating the real world. Jim |
