Just wondering what other people would be willing to pay?

$125 USD for 5(!) models spray-painted olive drab seems outrageous to me, but what do I know? Maybe I'm just an old Scrooge McDuck.

Don't be suckered into spending a fortune on crap.

I would suggest that £20.00 GBP-£25 is the absolute maximum I would pay for a 15mm tank, but for that I would want a superb paint job supported by a complete set of decals (i.e. things like weight patches, serial numbers, names etc). Ideally, the model would be personalised in some way: a character as opposed to just a crewman, interesting stowage, if on a base then an interesting base etc.

If just beautifully painted, then £15.00 GBP-£20.

If just sprayed one colour, or sprayed and highlighted, then £10.00 GBP-£15.

All prices above are for metal figures. Plastics deduct 25%.

Hope that helps.

I see some outrageous game item prices on EBay I can't see worth it. I have gotten miniatures on EBay but never painted, that's part of the fun.

In flea markets, $5 USD is a good price for a properly-painted 15mm tank, and I can personally inspect the tank and drive home with it. You'd be hard-pressed to get me to pay more than $10 USD for the uncertainties and delays of an on-line purchase.

People do want crazy prices for stuff on Ebay. Dealers, who should know the market, seem to be the worst (but I guess they need to eat – there is a well known UK 2nd hand wargames dealer wanting north of GB£30 for a HOT army scratch built from stones!)

Certainly at the moment there seem to quite a few FOW army collections, typically part painted, going begging in the UK for that kind of money. There also seems to be less of the FOW pro-painted stuff going than there was a couple of years ago. IIRC there was recent lot were GB£25 would have secured 3 Sherman's (basic paint job), some unpainted infantry and a couple of quad 50cal trailers.

On the other hand I've picked up a couple of absolute steals recently.
