Anyone having discussions, or worked out armor ratings for halftracks and other light vehicles, for recon games, and where light weapons predominate?

I thought some/many had settled on an Armor Rating of 2 for the halftracks, but it looks like at least one set of updated factors lists German HTs as a 1. Presumably, then US HTs are the same, since they're less well protected than the German ones, because they don't have sloped armor.

I was thinking an Armor Rating of 2 for both sides' HTs, and perhaps a Zero or 1 for light vehicle "Armor" like jeeps and trucks.

I was also thinking a 1 for LMGs for strike value, and a 2 for 12.7mm – 14.5mm HMGs.

Anyone adding in MGs to their games, given the use of halftracks, jeeps, kubelwagens, trucks, etc.?

Need some way to add in effects for MGs on the light vehicles, instead of making them immune to attacks from those, in order to ensure proper tactics.

Thoughts?

Take a look at the ratings for various vehicles in Chain of Command (or at the Chain of Command Consolidate Arsenal – url in the forum). The ratings for most vehicles in WaT are close or the same as in Chain of Command so that's a good starting point. It won't give you a points cost but will give you armor and AP weapon info.

Thanks for the tip.

I don't own CoC, but will take a look for that.
