It is with great shock and sadness that I have discovered that my TMP compatriot and kindred spirit, Cheriton (Michael), has suffered a blow to his health and that he has not posted on TMP for eighteen months. Does anyone know of his current health and well being? I would dearly like him to know that I am rooting for him and pray that he has made a good recovery. Can anyone provide me with news about him. In recent years, Cheriton has been a beacon of constant goodness on TMP and has shown endless enthusiasm for the hobby. A position to which we all should aspire. I miss you friend, I wish you well. Someone please let me know his situation. We will still one day drink a Guinness on Cheriton battlefield, or elsewhere. As aye,

In May of 2018 (his most recent post), he mentioned recovering from a stroke: …I've been incapacitated by a stroke these past few weeks. I'm trying to get in touch with people I've known online, but am unable to type (my wife is typing this for me).I don't know how soon I'll be able to start responding again… TMP link His most recent visit was 10 June 2018. |

Cheriton is back!  However, he cannot post because it is difficult for him to write (unless his wife helps him) – but he does enjoy reading the forum! |

Excellent news! Thanks Bill Cheriton / Michael, regrettably I don't have direct contact with you, thinking of you at this time. Start by doing what is necessary; then do what is possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible (St. Francis of Assisi). I pray for you and look to you to make a steady recovery.
