Like minis games, but hate people? Maybe try a solo game, like "Five Parsecs from Home". Here, I'll show you how! YouTube link Apparently, the tax man "cometh" to blow up your statues. |

The "Five Parsecs" series (and it's fantasy sister, " Five Leagues From The Birderlands,) are my go-to games for playing with myself. I am running a "Gangs of Tattooine" campaign, a "Star Trek" campaign, and a Runequest/Glorantha campaign using these rules. |

How does "Five Parsecs from Home" work Star Trek? |

Very nice terrain and great game commentary. As always your table and figures are marvelous. Thank you for listing the home of your new(er) figures and where you got the ground sheet. As to the mat is it pasted to mdf? Some other material? Also good that you mentioned the rules update. As Hero of the Table (not me) said I too looked at WGV and saw no news of an update but I downloaded again and the new one is 1.08 so I'm good. |

Thanks, dragon6! The mat is just one big piece of heavy duty paper. I wanted it to be more canvas-y, but the print shop got it wrong. Still, it's been pretty useful. It's not pasted to anything. I just drape it over a card table that's (almost) 3 feet by 3 feet. |

I thought the mat might be just paper but heavy paper simplifies the whole thing. Oh and more SF buildings! Brigade models is nicely represented and your built (heavy paper? foam?) buildings look great. But why do they need to hire people when the statue is next to the Police Station? ;-) I love that billboard above the building in the upper left corner of the opening shot. Wish I had that much talent! |

Yes, I think those are brigade buildings. I need to finish painting them, though. :) The shanties are just cardstock. The "L" shaped building has a foamcore frame, but then it's encased in plasticard (that was a lot of work). The other two big buildings are foamcore, too. As for the police station (which is really too big to be useful much of the time) it's been abandoned since the gangs took over. ;) Here are the images for the billboards: link And some close-ups of that building: link And thanks for all of the kind words! I just get out there and do stuff. :D |
