I am trying to find some old 25mm figures to round out my 25mm Vikings for DBMM 2.1. Specifically I need a half-dozen old Citadel DA57 Viking Cavalryman from their 1980's Dark Ages range. Photos of these figures can be seen at this link: link If anyone has any of these figures and would be willing to part with them I will give him a good price for them. Thank you. |

Have you tried emailing Wargames Foundry? They seem to be re-releasing the range in a sort of haphazard way. |

Thank you for your kind response. Yes, I corresponded with WF about this some years back. What I was told was that the molds for the original true 25mm Citadel historical ranges (Dark Ages, Romans, Huns, Medieval and WOR) had been destroyed by Citadel when they changed to 28mm. The only Vikings that transitioned from Citadel to WF were early 28mm designs which had replaced those in the DA range. The current WF mounted Vikings are beefy 28mm which would be grotesquely too large next to my true 25mm Viking foot, most of which are -- you guessed it -- original Citadel OOP DA range Vikings. |

Hi. I still have a lot of the old Viking figures. If you can't find a more local source and don't mind paying the postage, I can let you know which ones I have. |

rtc105, I can't find any other source, local or otherwise, so I'd be grateful if you'd let me know which of the old Citadel Viking figures you have and are willing to part with. In addition to the DA57 Viking Cavalryman figures, if you can spare a single Citadel DA29 "Varangian Guardsman in Armour" figure I'd like to have it to use as a Harald Hardrada C-in-C figure (Harald served some years in the Varangian Guard before becoming King of Norway). Let me know your price and of course I'll also pay the postage. How do we exchange our contact information privately? |

rtc105, I'd like to correspond further on this topic with you here or off-board. Anyone, please let rtc105 know I want to discuss further. Thanks, all. |
