We did an interesting small action, special Forces attacking a Relay vehicle set up within some woods. A small but interesting scenario for 1/144 figures at 1mm+1m Ground scale. The scenario allows flexability to the attacker as to where to attack, any edge(s) of the board. This forces the defender to either go for internal or extenal defence or a mixture of both. For reference the board is 6ft by 4ft. link The vehicle in the middle are the relay vehicle and a Landrover for use by the defenders. link link |

One of my instructors at ALC lived that! They had a Prophet set up in Afghanistan, and had security assigned to them. While scanning freqs, they heard the insurgents talking about taking out the security – they recognized what was happening from the description of their security detail! They yelled for them to take cover, and fortunately, no one was wounded. |

Nice setup. I play 1/144 scale too. My son was on patrol with a SigInt unit and carried a radio that took in the local cell phone traffic and had an interpreter listening in. The terp said they were going to be shot at to which my son said, "OK". The terp said, "No, they are going to shoot at you, take cover" as the rounds started flying. When it was over one of the antennas behind his head had been shot off. Wolfhag |
