Not sure about favorite but most fascinating: Barbarossa.

Big fan of France 1940, played a lot of early Western Desert and Eastern Front but now mostly play NW Europe, Normandy Beach and onwards

Still going to stick with France 1940 and either Hannut or Sedan

Gazala or Kursk. Both very balanced.

Finland. Winter War

Second choice….Finland, Continuation War.

Armour and esp planes of almost every warring nation, with that Hakarista marking….ultra "cool" (I hate that overused word, but they were, like Steve McQueen or the deck of a USN carrier) infantry. What is not to like?

Battle of the Bulge. So much going on and it's so well documented.

Barbarossa June-Dec 1941

Another vote for Barbarossa, or at least the early war years in the East, 1941-42. Specific battle, too many to mention.
This is the only WW2 I play.

Kursk, Stalingrad, Kharkov, or Korsun–Cherkasy Pocket

Narratio24 Oct 2019 7:29 p.m. PST

The Korsun Pocket. Ever since Jack Radey's board game on the subject it's fascinated me. Any of the battles for Kharkov, Manstien clearing the Crimea or yes, the Russian offensives into Rumania and Hungary.

Lee49424 Oct 2019 7:49 p.m. PST

Market Garden and Bulge. Try and run a Bulge game over the Holidays every year!

Stalingrad, The Slot, Battle of Britain. Near run things.

The Sahara desert campaign is also a lifelong favorite

Timmo uk26 Oct 2019 2:43 p.m. PST

Battle of Britain.

Nick Pasha08 Nov 2019 6:09 a.m. PST

Any battle Patton fought in Europe,

Fred Cartwright08 Nov 2019 12:57 p.m. PST

I am fond of battles fought in the snow. So the Battle of the Bulge, the Norwegian campaign, the battles around Kharkov in early 1943, the siege of Cholm are all firm favourites.

WARGAMESBUFF10 Nov 2019 10:49 a.m. PST

The Bulge and Market Garden.
Any battle that PATTON wasnt involved in :)Nick :)

4th Cuirassier11 Nov 2019 4:15 a.m. PST

The Battle of the Bulge was fought in the desert. Trust me on this, I've seen the film.

Does anyone else find that movie always reminds them of Christmas? Whenever it came on when I was a kid I felt an overwhelming urge to go out and buy 1/76 Matchbox American armour, and frequently did. After building each kit as little pre-Christmas whileaway I then had no further use for it. It's quite hard to integrate a Priest or an M40 GMC into a 1941 Red Army.
