"This video shows the inside of an American military camp in Syria which was hastily abandoned by U.S. troops after Donald Trump ordered them out.

Russian journalist Oleg Blokhin filmed at the base near Manbij in northern Syria where bottles of alcohol-free beer were still sitting on tables, a wide-screen TV was perched inside a tent and a laundry room was lying empty.

The camp was equipped with armchairs, fridges and satellite dishes, as well as books and a collection of DVDs and video games, all of which were left behind…"

Private Matter, but aren't you just drinking a different flavor?

pzivh43 – We'll see. It all depends on whether or not Deash has a resurgence on the back of this. Or if our ability to build alliances in the future is not undermined thereby not having to use so many of our own troops should we need to protect our interests in the future. We'll see. Insallah

My nephew was in GW2.

His prized possession was an ex American camp bed. He also said that the US troops chucked away more kit than the British had in the first place….

This is nothing compared to the $7 USD billion dollars' worth of MRAP's "left behind" in Afghanistan because they were deemed surplus and the US Army considered the costs of shipping them back excessive. So they destroyed them with blow torches.

At least these leisure items might keep some poor Russian private from getting bored to death.

What is alcohol free beer for?

Well, there IS an Islamic declaration about not drinking alcohol, there may be a national law about that.

Or there may be a command decision about not allowing drunk troops in a combat zone, so Near Beer is all you can drink (that used to be allowed in the USN).
