Sho Boki 18 mm miniatures, a battalion which could serve in the Low countries, or at the Rhine or in the Vendée.

One has the option to paint details differently for each unit, which I will do.

The colour is a paint converted white royalist colonel colour from GMB

For elucidation, a trooper is a horseman, ie a cavalry rider.
You may wish to refer to infantry or other foot grounded men as 'troops'.
But figures would suffice too, in modelling mode…

I think that in the British army at least (until after WW1) a ‘trooper' was the horse, the rider was, well, the rider, of whatever rank.
