PROGRAM EVENTS LIST (more to come)
Saturday 9:00 am "Skirmish Fire" The Crimea 1854/GM Skip Peterson
Russian units have been sent to scout and engage the forward positions the British & French battle lines. Players will command Light Inf. Companies, Cavalry & sections of Artillery. This is a rule set that blends the best features of a Miniature & Board War-game. A detailed level of complexity yet easy to understand set of rules. 28mm Scale.

Saturday 9:00 am Charlie Company/GM Alexander Sewielski
Charlie Company is a infantry skirmish game set during the Vietnam War. Players take command of MACV/ARVN Force and fight the opposition of PAVN/NLF forces controlled by the GM. This is a game that requires teamwork, communication, and tactical prowess, and has strong "role-playing" elements. Communication is Real-Time, and Meta-gaming is discouraged. If you like a balance of roleplay and tactics this game is for you!

Saturday 10:00 am and 4:00 pm March to Moscow/GM John Bobek
6mm Napoleonic game with French pushing on to Moscow in 1812. Rules are La Gloire de Guerre, pages 78-80 in The Games of War. Figures are Grand Manoeuvre's cardstock Napoleonics.

Saturday 10:00 am and 6:00 pm Operation Supercharge-9th Armoured Brigade Sector Nov, 1942/GM Kevin Cabai
A pivotal point in the 2nd Battle of El Alamein. Monty sends in the 9th Arm Brigade, to break through the Italian lines at all costs. Supported by the New Zealanders, this battle is known thereafter as "Balaclava with tanks" Command one of attacking regiments of the 3rd King's own Hussars or defend as one of the Folgore Paracadutisti companies. Players will make pre-game decisions that will shape the course of the battle. Will it be for better or worse?

Saturday 10:00 am and 1:00 pm The Bloody April Experience /GM J Peter Aguilu
April 1917 sees the "flieger staffeln" achieve their greatest kill to loss ratio of the war, leading the charge, Jastas 11, 5, 2! The Allies, desperate for reconnaissance, choose pushing their inferior BE 2s and FEs into the action in ever greater numbers. Of course this resulted in ever greater losses except when weather intervened. Mission has been ordered..session 1:Coop squadron against 4-5 Albatros DIIIs. Session 2:Top pilots from session 1 advance to fly the German patrol. Prizes awarded.

Saturday 10:00 am and 7:00 pm The Waterloo Campaign/GM Steve Fratt
This is a Napoleonic Waterloo Campaign game using a operational map and 6mm Heroics and Ros figures for battles. The campaign is eight turns [days] long. Operational movement is town to town. Battle scale = 500 infantry/stand, 250 cavalry/stand, 8 guns/stand. This is a playtest of the third game in the FrattSpiel game line. NO experience necessary.

Saturday 1:00 pm Tin Eagles – Napoleonics 30mm Flats/GM Lewis Stoneking
Fun Intuitive rules pitting Russian forces versus French forces in a fictitious engagement. Each player commands a combined arms division. Join us!!

Saturday 1:00 pm Walkerloo Napoleonics – Battle of The Big Boys/GM Lewis Stoneking
Engagement between the French Les Blues 54eme Fusiliers de Ligne and the British Black Watch 42nd Regiment of Royal Highland Foot. Join us as never have you played with figures as big as your hand, literally 90mm Napoleonic flats. Come play this FUN game… an experience of a lifetime!!

Saturday 6:00 pm Operation Muharram al-Haram/GM Brendgol Majewski
The third—and arguably the most successful—of the Iranian offensives in 1982 was Operation Muharram al-Haram. Launched on the night of October 31, the objectives of Operation Muharram were limited in scope and had a more economic nature than the previous operations. In addition to removing existing Iraqi salients within Iranian territory, Iranian troops were to seize several Iraqi oil fields, including the large Bayat field and industrial towns in both sectors, including Tib, Zobeidat, and Abu Q

Not all games will be repeated in the evening so there will be some available space for impromptu open gaming – including board games so bring some troops and/or a board game if you desire.

Additional Games:

Saturday 10:00 am Shellshock – WarPaint – WWII /GM Glenn Domingo
Wargaming can be complicated, slow and expensive. WarPaint is trying to change that. The mini's ARE the record sheet and firing template. You need little more than dice and rulers to play. Easy enough for novice wargamers and great for wargamers that want to try out WWII armored combat without shelling out a fortune to try something new. Rules will be taught.

Saturday 10:00 am and Saturday 3:00 pm STAVKA 1981/GM Herman Deckys
With the election of anti-communist hardliner Ronald Reagan in November 1980 and next generation American arms transferring to Europe STAVKA is nervous. They feel that the window of opportunity to occupy the west is closing and plan for a border crossing. August 1981 when the ground is hard and the rivers run low they cross the border, perfect weather for combined arms.

Saturday 1:00 pm lysDexic maGes-Ancient Galley-Warfare/GM Glenn Domingo
Roman & Athenian Triremes maneuver in turbulent waters, while hoplites battle each other and try to keep balance every time a bronze ram maims the ship and the poor rowers below. lysDexic maGes brings to you an intuitive and fun miniatures game. Rules will be taught and battle will be furious.
