and had a fine old time! This is kind of a mixed AAR/Game Report post link Hard Times on the North Sea! I played my first actual game of Cruel Seas at the recent BARRAGE Convention, put on by the HAWKS. Note: Many Barrage pictures, too.

I played my first game last weekends, but it was all small boats. I thought that it was pretty fun.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoy the game. I love your comment at the end: I'd play Cruel Seas again in a heartbeat. Good thing I bought all those ships, then! Reminds me of my first experience. We played at ORIGINS for the first time and immediately bought the starter with the US and Japanese Fleets!
