Subtitle "The Last Zombie Apocalypse Begins Here."

Frozen meteorites striking Earth release some type of toxin or spore that turns some people in to zombies. Formulaic and low budget film with predictable scenes. I've never heard of anyone in it. It comes in at less than 90 minutes. Don't expect hordes of zombies; I don't think you ever see more than a handful of people in the street at any one time, which doesn't sound very LA to me. It does have some small group/skirmish ideas in the plot line.

Yes, this film had an interesting premise and it holds your attention for the first 30 minutes, then goes downhill from there.
