What is the short-barreled gun just above the standard .50 cal machinegun on the sprue? Seems to be interchangeable with the .50 cal.

I think it is a Mark 19 grenade launcher.

Yeah that's a Mk.19 … all my M113s had .50s.

Mk19 automatic grenade launcher.

IIRC, you can replace 1x .50cal per platoon with a Mk19.

Back in my day old fart we only had .50s and M47 Dragons to mount on our M113s. Would have liked some Mk.19s though ! evil grin

I wish we had Mk.19s somewhere in the unit ! huh?

But yes I served '79-'90. old fart We only heard about something called a Mk.19 GL. They were testing them on one of the ranges. One jammed, they just blew it in place … huh?
