The floor was cold under her bare feet, her body shivering in the darkness of the chamber. The witch had insisted she dress appropriately for getting very wet, and now she was regretting obtaining the spell from the crone more and more with each nervous thump of her heart, as it seemed she was losing heat constantly. The ridiculously large shells and sea star were about to become a safety hazard in the dark, any moment now, but they seemed to be doing the job, as the stone well before her began to glow. The scar on the girl's leg throbbed painfully as the blue energy radiated from the well, through the stone itself. It would be just one of the things she would try to work into the deal.
