I'm talking core rules so not Kill Team or Armageddon. Not discussing all time rule set either. Just the two most recent versions. Thanks for input.

8th by a long shot.

Fully 8th. I'm not even sure how this is a question!

Lol. I was inspired by some Redit posts that claimed 7th is a better hardcore game but 8th is a better pickup game. Plus I haven't played either so I wouldn't know, hence the poll.

8th by so far its not even funny. (7th had stopped us so badly my teenage son and I had stopped playing altogether – 8th got our troops back out of the boxes)

Would you like a nice piece of pie, or someone to back over your foot with a school bus?

+1 Coyote.

Pie has too many empty calories, so I'll go with the foot.

To the OP, neither. I like the fluff I've read, but that was before 7th or 8th edition came out. So … do they refluff the universe with every new edition too? If so, that would make a great comparative mythology course.

5th… Hands down…

OP: "Just the two most recent versions, please"

If I have to play by the rules on this, everyone else should, too!

So, by what edition will they get this game right? :-/

It's not about getting it right; it's about maintaining 'support' and changing the tournament scene to keep people interested.

8th

7th was a horrible bloated mess

deephorse02 Oct 2019 4:04 a.m. PST
