Interesting tutorial.

My go-to product for barbed wire is aluminium fly-wire. By cutting carefully you end up with little barbs that look rather good, in my opinion. You can see both single strand and concertina in this photo

Barbed wire single strands to denote fence lines.
1.Wood base drill out and painted white.
2. Matchsticks drilled out.
3. Matchsticks glued to wood.
4. Barbed wire threaded through the holes and glued.
5. Paint matchsticks
6. glue on moss, rocks and small sticks.
7. Paint white
8. White glue Woodland Scenics Soft Snow flake
