SPACE 1889: Wild Men of Mars on Gisby's blog SPACE 1889 has various races of Martians, each a distinct branch of a common evolutionary tree. There are Steppe Martians, and Canal Martians, and the bestial Kraag Martians. In my campaign we also have the primitive Wild or Cave Martians. link |

Do you know if the original figures from GDW are still available anywhere? |

RAFM still sells them, and the original sets are quite a bargain for what you get. The moulds seem new, and they are clean casts. They also have newer figures, that are somewhat more pricey – But still on the inexpensive end. |

Great looking figures. I have some I haven't painted yet and I like what you did with yours! |

Bro', you've got some North Star tribals?!? You never said! Kewl! Now, if only I could remember where my Kraag are… ;->= Gisby, ol' bean, impressive extension of 1889 with those. Fits nicely, indeed. cybrt54, I, and some of the local lads have been playing Sky Galleons of Mars, and we're chuffed about the setting. Thanks for sharing! Doug |

Thanks everyone for the kind words – I've heard rumours of a range of VSF on Mars with 28mm plastics. (Mostly Historicals with VSF-friendly bits included) I just hope there's interest! |
