Looking for a solo Dark Ages game. I don't know anything about THW's Mayhem Warriors. Anybody give this one a try?

For solo Dark Ages, THW has a more recent release called Great Hall Burning which includes a full campaign system and some RPG elements for you character. The emphasis is on the Vikings but it can be applied to any Dark Ages time period including the Crusades.

Mayhem Warriors is long gone but the system kept evolving. The latest version is Swordplay 2018. A free download here :-)

Great Hall Burning is now owned by Rebel Miniatures.

As to the THW system,it was written for solo/same side games so you can experience your well made plans turn to dust on contact with the enemy. Keep a clear head and you'll be fine.

THW ? What is wrong with two hours gameplays ? Are whe going to need an abreviation glossary for wargames now ?

@BelgianRay

I take it you've never owned any of Ed's products.

The "THW" abbreviation is used instead of "2 Hour Wargames" in his rule books,on the THW forum,the Yahoo group and anywhere else folk discuss the games.
