I've posted an After Action Report on my blog allhellletloose.co.uk following an epic battle for the Elsenborn Heights above the twin villages of Krinkelt-Rocherath. It was an epic fight and went almost to the wire. Here's some pics to whet your appetite!

Really beautiful looking game, I'm green (white?) with envy! It just so happens that I'm playing a portion of the Bulge in 6mm right now as well. I'm using Blitzkrieg Commander and having a great time, but nowhere near as pretty. The trees and villages are particularly lovely. And that was a helluva fight, glad to see the Yanks hold, albeit on the very last corner of the table! ;) On a side note, your Arnhem setup is even more impressive, absolutely jaw-dropping. Thanks for sharing, it's very inspirational. V/R, Jack |

Hi guys thanks for the thumbs up! Just Jack the villages are from Brigade Models, and heresy I know, but are 2mm scale. I find when playing games at big scale – 1" is 100 yards and a stand is a platoon that having buildings closer to the ground scale helps visualise things better. The trees are scratch made and I posted on the blog a how to guide. They are simple and cheap to make. Appreciate the Arnhem feedback – again its 2mm scale for 6mm figures. I'll be posting more on that model as its finished and with photos of the participation game I'm running with it. |
