Your translator is off again- there's no such word/English usage as 'hatch' meaning a wagon- just call it what it is. Also semantics, but 'both' relates to two- both hands/ arms/ legs/ tyres/ tentacles etc. The "the boat, the beams and the planks" is 3 subjects and therefore fails the grammar test. More correctly translated you may write "carries the boat, both the beams and the planks…" cheers d |
