The Arabs have been thrown back in disarray. The Byzantines take this opportunity to reacquire old possessions.
But what is this? Upon entering the Cizicus region, on the road to Philadelphia, banners of the Catalan Company are visible. That mercenary band had taken this area in a previous war, and were paid 3 times their going rate to leave. But apparently notice of their departure was just a deception.

It is time to demand a refund.
