Does anyone know where I can buy a set of these?

AuttieCat14 Sep 2019 8:35 a.m. PST

I would check with Old Glory. They were the publisher. If they do still carry them, don't forget that it is a two volume set. Also, if you are a member of the 'Old Glory Army', you can save money buying them directly from Old Glory.

p.s. It is a GREAT PAIR OF BOOKS!

Doesn't look like they have them at Old Glory any longer. RAFM still has Volume I of the old set:

We sold out and plan on reprinting them.

Au pas de Charge14 Sep 2019 3:42 p.m. PST

Reprinting them in Hardcover?

historygamer14 Sep 2019 8:54 p.m. PST

Wasn't there an update on the works as well?

AuttieCat15 Sep 2019 8:22 a.m. PST

The Old Glory printing is much better than the original set by RAFM.

I would contact Old Glory and ask when that plan on reprinting them or start looking on eBay.

Hi, Old Glory! Great news! Do you know when you'll reprint the ?

It has been a number of years since Greg wrote these books but they are still an amazing source of information. Well worth finding and utilizing.

I have them but over the years I refer to them less often. I think nowadays there are better sources of information.

historygamer16 Sep 2019 7:01 a.m. PST

Such as?

Virginia Tory16 Sep 2019 10:38 a.m. PST

I'm not aware of anything better. There may be other stuff out there, but…

historygamer17 Sep 2019 12:40 p.m. PST

Russ – any thought of updating the info?

Old Glory Sponsoring Member of TMP18 Sep 2019 6:06 a.m. PST

Working on it.

historygamer18 Sep 2019 6:13 a.m. PST

So did Greg actually make updates to the text before he passed? The rumor was going around he had been working on it.

Rudysnelson19 Sep 2019 5:28 p.m. PST

I have both books as well. Great books for reference. Good luck finding them. When I sale off my collection, they will be some of the last times to go. I have already sold off all of my Napoleonic Osprey. LOL.

Any update on the Novak AWI OOBs reprinting?

historygamer20 Dec 2019 10:29 a.m. PST

Good question.

dantheman27 Dec 2019 7:38 a.m. PST

Maplewood Hobby in NJ has a copy of the Southern Book in stock. Unfortunately not the Northern Book.

companycmd07 Jan 2020 10:02 a.m. PST

I have compiled a 900+ page book of AWI resources that I personally own or got from the internet, and I bet it is at least close to what Greg did. I have kept all my research of this conflict over the last 4 years which is how the book came to be.

Au pas de Charge09 Jan 2020 8:09 a.m. PST

@companycmd

900 pages!?

What does this book mostly contain?

Does this book exist in printed form outside of your possession?

RA Cunningham07 Nov 2020 1:02 p.m. PST

Hi Old Glory, is there any news on a reprint?

Personal logo Old Contemptible Supporting Member of TMP09 Nov 2020 2:39 a.m. PST

Such as any number of books sitting on my bookshelf. You want a list? Go to Amazon books and pick one.

WillBGoode11 Nov 2020 7:02 a.m. PST

Well I did one would be delighted if they republished these two volumes and they were available once again.

Au pas de Charge11 Nov 2020 7:25 a.m. PST

I want them too!

historygamer11 Nov 2020 4:29 p.m. PST

Message has been heard, and it in the pile of things to do. Stand by for further details. :-)
