I've just finished an epic refight of a battle based around the fighting that took place before the Elsenborn Heights and the twin villages of Krinkelt-Rocherath on the 18th Dec 1944.
It was a big game and is intended to be played with 1 stand representing a platoon, with 8 on table German battalions taking on 4 on table US battalions supported by artillery.
Although designed for our own rules it should be straightforward to convert to spearhead.
The full scenario is at allhellletloose.co.uk

Did this in Command Decision about 10 years ago. Remember that the 12th SS Panzer is not the unit that fought in Normandy.

Hi jekinder6, the rules system I use qualifies command capability as well as morale. In the game we played the German player decided that neither panzer unit would be considered veteran. No German unit had the option for superior leadership. A well led veteran panzer formation is a sight to behold on the tabletop!
