… final trials. "The Admiral Kasatonov is a new generation frigate belonging to Project 22350, Admiral Gorshkov-class. The vessel was professed to be the "Master of the Sea" by Russian military leaders. The Admiral Kasatonov was laid on November 26, 2009, and floated on December 12, 2014. Currently, Kasatonov is in the process of testing in the Baltic Sea which will be handed over to the Russian navy in late 2019. The factory and acceptance trials will last until December. Navy Commander-in-Chief Nikolai Yevmenov will decide on accepting the warship to the Northern fleet. "We are sailing to the sea for a long time to prepare the warship to the maximum for further service. I am sure that together with the staff of Severnaya Verf we shall fulfil numerous trial tasks. The shipyard built a modern warship of the 21st century. It is an honor to serve on the latest warship with advanced technologies," Commander and Captain First Rank Ivan Rogatin said…"
