… Afghanistan Was A Mistake.

"Eighteen years after the U.S. invaded Afghanistan, Americans are split on the necessity of the war, with just over half saying it was not a mistake in a new poll from Gallup.

The invasion there was not, since that's where the bad guys were.

The "mistake" was not pursuing them and their supporters over the border into Pakistan, and that "mistake" is still evident today.

They need to be pursued around the globe, anywhere they exist.

The mistake was staying to "nation build". The mission should have been to kill the bad guys wherever they were and then get out.

Yeah they shoulda nuked Pakistan, that place is where the Taliban actually came from. Not the US supported Mujhadeen like left wing media like to say. THe Muj became the Northern Alliance, the Talibs were Pakistani Islamic students. I worked with a Pakistani. He was a nutcase and thought 9/11 was all faked and that I was dirty scum for eating pork. We shoulda nuked those Bleeped texters.

Failure to deal decisively with Pakistan cost us – dearly.
