Incredible skill in painting. Note things like the outline on the white lace on the cuffs, obviously the tartan, the facial expressions on some. All in 1/72 too!


We'll forgive the flags. I suspect the ensigns had to face about to see this threat.


and this is quite a threat. The Gordons have left it too late to fire. Even if they do, horse and rider will come crashing straight into that hedge of bayonets as they are now so close and at full tilt. How fortunate that nothing like this did happen very often. If the riders were feeling suicidal it is unlikely the horses were.
