I mixed a coarse scatter foliage to be added to my jungle terrain and to the bases of the Marines and the soon to come NVA. Made with the clump foliage I made.

Here is a picture without the foliage and with the foliage:

What do you think ? I personally think with foliage will blend the miniatures better into the terrain.

Looks better, and helps to blend in.

Otherwise, looked like he's in the desert.

I would personally add even more foliage, at risk of losing your figure of course. Have you thought of a redder wash to the ground, to allow greater contrast and something a bit more like the very red earth of Vietnam?

Great highlights on the figure, esp his overalls. Has he got jungle boots?

I know that the earth in Vietnam is very red , but I have to make a concession there as i want to use the terrain I already have for my Vietnam games , too. Space and time restricts to build everything new therefore i used the colors I used on the rest of my terrain.
