I read this book several years ago now and it was great to see Mr Steve enjoyed much of what I discovered and it was great reminding myself what a good read this book is.

I read this book myself a while ago and I agree with the review. Its made me decide to read it again; its a good read in that it is what I think a good memoir should be like. Seems to be a bit rambling but I think that makes it all the more authentic.

I too have read this book and agree it is a good read.

Sounds like a very good read. Interesting to read the snippet about what Carius did after the war.

Agreed, it is a really good read.
