That statistic could just as easily be interpreted as meaning that almost two thirds of the respondents are either infertile or incapable of forming a relationship that might result in subsequent generations.

My 25 year old granddaughter does not want to wargame and my 2 year old grandson does not understand what it is yet. Maybe some day before I die he and I will play. We shall see.

Well, I do!

Two and the youngest (age 5) is a tread-head (at least he likes Panzer Kids)

Ouch Jeff, a little harsh perhaps, I thought Fitz was supposed to be the cynic?
I have two kids, my son was heavy into RPGs and MechWar, then he grew up and lost interest, my daughter, meh, no interest there. My two grandsons down here in Florida, Mmmmmmaybe there's a future for this hobby afterall. Gotta wait a little bit though, the oldest is 6 and his brother is only 3. They have their own personal war going. (smile)

I wonder how many of that 65% don't have any children to start with?

I have one grandson in town who will play war games, he is six. Now days he spends most of his time playing soccer as does my other grandson who at one time we play games but now too busy with sports. Both have large collections of military figures.

Good point, I'm gonna have to get working on my 6 year old grandson, he likes to look at grandpa's soldiers but I haven't been able to game with him yet. The 3 year old would just throw them at us so that's definitely out for the time being.
