…Hasbro, the maker of the beloved family game Monopoly, released a special edition of the game called Monopoly Socialism. The satirical twist on the decades-old game replaces Monopoly's traditional player tokens with a phonograph, a pocket watch and an old fashioned rotary phone. And instead of players collecting $200 USD when they pass "Go," the socialism-themed edition instructs players that will receive a $50 USD "living wage"… link |

Yea, until they pull that "living wage" rug right out from you, like they did to those in Cuba a few years back. Some had their $30 USD a month pay cut by 40% to $18 USD a month. They were the "lucky" ones. The unlucky ones were thrown off the payroll completely, and told to start up capitalist businesses in a communist nation, with no money to bankroll them. I'm sure that didn't work out very well for most people, since few if any there have any money to spare. A 100% pay cut is difficult to survive. Perhaps that was their real point. |

One if Yakov Smirnov's bits on Commununism in the Soviet Union is a corker. "In Soviet system, the government pretends to pay us, and we pretend to work." |

If you draw a Green New Deal card, your family receives a horse. You may then use it for transportation, or food… ;-) |
