Just curious what the current fashion is for regimental level games? I'm an old Johnny Reb gamer, like what I see in Guns of Gettysburg too. Haven't played Regt F&F, though I own a copy. Same for Pickett's Charge. Interested to hear what your groups is playing these days. |

Lots of rules bubble up here from time to time. Feels like we've played them all at least once or twice, but Fire & Fury has remained constant over the last 10+ years in the club. Still see lots of guys playing it. |

Locally (Dorset England) we usually play Civil War Battles (CWB). Brigade is the basic manoeuvre piece. 6x3 table. |

If I'm running the game, Regimental Fire & Fury. It just works and I always have at least a couple players very familiar with it. I'm always open to trying other systems, but nobody seems to put together more than a game or two. RF&F keeps coming back. - Ix |

Pickett's Charge is a great rule set from the same stable as General d'Armee – but with very much an ACW flavour. link |

Regimental Fire and Fury is my go to rule set. Love everything about it. Brigade Fire and Fury is the second favorite, but that makes sense as it's essentially the same system. Honorable mentions; Pickets Charge Rank and File 15mm ACW is where it's at. 😀 |

Not played 15mm ACW for a while, but we used home grown rules, which owed something to F+F, but were stripped down to two sides of A4. |

Rudy mentioned Johnny Reb III at NASHCON this year. Since 2014 JohnnyCon has been held concurrently with NASHCON as a "Con within a Con. We host games that can be traced back to designer John Hill. This year we even had three games of original Johnny Reb. We've had Squad Leader in miniature, Dean West ran a Final Argument of Kings as a kick off game (not this year of course, he is missed), a couple of AWI variants, monster games with 27 players, this year we had a mashup of JRIII and F&F. Been gathering since 2006. Great convention. |
