Here are some pics of the Mahdists under Emir Abu Girga gathering to attack Fort Burri and Burri Gate at Khartoum:

The figures are a mix of Mikes Models and Gallia. The game was set up as a solo exercise so I'm using my movement trays made from plastic petri dishes to facilitate movement. They were were very inexpensive to make, maybe $20 USD including paint and flock. They're not much to look at but they work fine for my purposes.

Here are a few photos of the two gunboats Gordon Pasha has deployed to assist the defense of Fort Burri:

One boat is a resin model by Merrimack Miniatures/Old Glory Shipyard and the other is a scratch built model made by Richard Houston.

I'm sure your trays keep things moving along sharply!

Looks like a great time – will you be writing more reports on this action here?

Hopefully.

So good to see another of Richard Houston's models still going strong!

And the rest of the photos aren't chopped liver, either!
