Yeah, that is a crapton of math to do to figure out where the bullet will be. And the military still demands that you do that all on paper or in your head, no fancy app on a phone or tablet computer (yes, those do exist). |

pfft, I'll be impressed when he can do that standing and shooting from the hip, like in the movies. On a more serious note, I know how mediocre I am at around 1000 feet. Can't even imagine hitting a target at eight times that range. Well done, sir, well done. |

Very impressive! I imagine they have an APP for that, or at least a little, handheld, ballistic calculator. |

Thresher01 – the Applied Ballistics Kestrel is just that. If you're old-school or on a budget, "Whiz Wheel" mechanical ballistics calculators are also available. |
