I have a new 1/144 model of a Grenade launcher team STL. I wold love to see how an FDM printer set up with an 0.05mm nozzle and 0.05mm layer thickness would do on something like this. Both these requirements are beyond my current printers. Is anybody prepared to have a go for me and for their own interest? |

Sounds neat. Would love to see a Sagger Team – Soviet as well, if that is possible. |

Tresher01, Not sure yet if these will ever go to production at a sensible price. They are unsuitable for Shapeways as your home printer is now more able than Shapeways with decent material. The ultra detail stuff at Shapeways may be able to cope but its way to brittle for game figures. Basically figures at this size commercially to be done in liquid which is expensive commercially and beyond other than the most dedicated amateurs as the resin is carcinogenic and not suitable for other than a safe workshop. I think I have got as good as I am going to get with our printer. A quick think and due to the limiting nature of our printer they would be about £1.00 GBP a unit which is probably not a price folk would want to pay. |

Now a prone figure is much easiser but does not work for a Grenade launcher. |
