One of the games played at this month's meeting of the DWG was a Swordpoint game, recreating the events of Nicopolis in 1396.

As you can see the chaps got a lot of toys out on the table and much fun was had playing the rules.

I'd love to see an OB for the battle.

I would have loved to have seen a wooded ridge line and stream but it wasnt my game, I suppose I should be grateful I got some pointy sticks. I do still have copies of the organisers OB but cannot think of a simple way to post them and I don't really want to hand type them in line by line. I can however suggest looking at Warhammer Ancient battles book "Vlad the Impaler" as they have this scenario in it as well as Varna.
