Seems as if almost every week, there's a new revelation on how the government is using "Big Brother" tactics and tech to keep tabs on its citizens: link |

Hmmm….. In cities can't they kinda track us with CCTV already? |

I don't understand why anyone thinks this is something new. KH sats had the capacity to perform this sort of surveillance for a long time – and did, though not domestically – at least, not that we know about. And of course JEH had the 'phone lines under surveillance for many years. |

1984 was written as a warning, not an instruction manual. |

I've heard of that, for the KH sats. Supposedly could read license plates from hundreds of miles up, and/or away. PzGen., they're using these to track movements across the states/region too, and not just in the cities. Not that they really need to do that, since many/most people are already paying for the privilege of carrying around their own, "mobile emitter", and/or personal tracking device, otherwise known as a "smart phone". Reminds me a bit of the inaptly named "Smart Car" too. Both are really dumb, and/or the humans that buy and use them are. This type of surveillance should be banned, since in my opinion, it is an unconstitutional invasion of privacy. |

Thresher, the KHs, at least the early ones, suffered from not being able to penetrate clouds, precipitation, etc. Later, though… |

Let them go ahead. They'll die of boredom tracking me. |
