Not a bad--but definitely truncated--outline of the Second French Intervention. Of course, in nine minutes how much can the man say about the most "operatic" event of the 19th Century? As I'm working to finish editing "Viva Juarez!," I would still recommend the video to anyone interested in subject, but look forward to the book for the nitty-gritty of armies, weapons, OB's, and useful maps. Hopefully it will become available by Subscription in another month or so. An Eternally Optimistic TVAG |
