gbowen11 Aug 2019 8:22 a.m. PST WarMachine armies trotted out as undead (Cryx) and tunnel dwellers (Khador). The underneath option was chosen as it is the faction with firearms albeit in the 'short range' morale popping medieval style

So, did you like the game? I was toying with the idea of using Warmachine figures for Saga Age of Magic as well. I don't enjoy the game of Warmachine as much as I once did.

I did play a game of Saga Age of Magic, but with Skaven and Goblins. Sorry Lords of Underneath and the Horde. I enjoyed it, and quickly realized there is a lot of subtle strategy to absorb. It takes some planning ahead to win!

Your game looked really good! Nice figures.

I was the umpire of this game. The Underneath player had not played since 1st edition and could have done better. The 2nd game I played as Undead against a Warhammer/40K fan who picked the system up quickly. I think that historical Saga is more fun but am glad of the magic book as it bridges the gap with the GW gamers and that gets me more games.
