I see the kickstarters went out, and I see the retail box has been pushed back to next Spring. Is there another kickstarter ahead? Does anyone know?

That's a shame as their buildings and some of their models look great and would be good to add to my 15mm fantasy mass battle collection but I have no interest in the game

My friend got into the game quite a bit and the miniatures are indeed very impressive. I look forward to getting in some games with him.
According to him, The original kickstarter was split into three "waves" due to the sheer volume of orders. Wave 1 is already delivered and wave 2 is on the boat to the distributors. He didn't say anything about wave 3 yet.
In light of player feedback and needed errata for the rules the company has decided that instead of publishing just an updated rulebook they are going to push back the retail start and do another kickstarter for the version 1.1 updates. Anyone already a backer will get the rules but everyone that missed the boat will get a second chance to jump on board. Supposed to start this fall i believe. The retail release will then contain the 1.1 upgrades as well as new scenarios etc.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Tom it helps. By third kickstarter do you mean another wave of mini production, updated minis, just the rules, or some combination of the above?

I believe that they are offering the whole line again plus a new line of miniatures/scenarios for the Teutonic Knights vs the Lithuanians but with the "updated" rulebook and scenarios from the original version 1 set.
This is just what I know from talking to my friend. I think he said it's all on their facebook page.

Fantastic Tom thanks again. Sorting through Facebook posts is a nightmare.

Actually saw this in local store – could be someone selling kickstarter. Still very tempted and may jump back in if kickstarter revives.

I was one of the "all in backers"-I got one of everything. I got wave 1 about the last week of June in the eastern US. There is a second wave coming that is being packed now-i just got the packing notice. I suspect late September, early October delivery.

So far, so good. 15mm figures are all pretty good. Very passable for historical 100YW wargaming should you want to go that route; the mounted knights are not the best "sculpts," a little cartoony, but everything else is pretty good.

Buildings and ruins were very good. I've painted most of the first wave's buildings and using GW Contrast paints, quite a few of the minis. Pretty happy with everything.

Game plays pretty well, took a few run throughs to figure it out, but again, pretty fun. More boardgame than war-game, but if you don't like the game, you've got enough figures and terrain/buildings for any Lion Rampant scenario, an army for Hail Caesar, DBx, FoG, Mortem et Gloriam, ad infinitum…and plenty of fantasy figures for any fantasy war-game (Warlords of Erehwon, Dragon Rampant). The Dragon and Devil figures are huge-easily compatible with 25/28/32MM figures.

So, they are re-offering the complete line again this fall via Kickstarter. They are updating the rules and dealing with balance issues in some of the scenarios. Yes, there were imperfections, but for a first time game company, this is a significant success. The physical products are as good as any game company, and the rules and scenarios, good, with some caveats.

They are also adding a Teutonic Knights expansion and possible a few other add ons. I'll add these to my collection as well.

Some of the "rest of world" customers are still waiting for their wave 1 (Asia, South America, Africa) but for the most part Europe and North America have gotten theirs. Only a few issues that I saw on the boards.

So,
if you have the spare cash, like the HYW period, don't mind a bit of historical fantasy thrown in-I'd recommend the game. Not for the historical purist, though.

I received my Wave 1 back in July here in Oz. These are excellent miniatures. The Dragon is fantastic. I intend to paint it up like Smaug and unleash it upon my role playing group as well as use it for Kings of War and Chaos Wars. So it is easily compatible with 28mm as well as its intended 15mm scale.
