Specifically the OG 25mm Pict range? i don't mind a little variation but some manufacturers are closer to 30mm and larger… Also if anyone can recommend a range with good 'characters" like druids or guys holding severed heads. Oh, and if I were to try making a force suitable for Saga or DBA would 20mm square bases do the trick? (using sabots for DBA) |

Foundry and OG mix very well size-wise. |

So does Crusader for that matter. |

Crusader does not (currently) make Picts. I am going to guess you are talking about the Crusader Irish? Foundry Picts mix well with Gripping Beast. I have Foundry, Old Glory and Gripping Beast (and Black Tree Design – the BTD I am sure are taller). I will check. |

Crusader Irish are a reasonable match. Some Crusader characters are huge, I have a Celt from a chariot pack (ACE016) who is around 34mm tall, he towers over the driver. Crusader horses will likely be too big to mix with anything 25mm. |

20mm bases should work for Saga; I gather it's what at least one of the authors uses. (The de facto standard seems to be 25mm rounds from what I've seen, though.) |

The benefit of 20mm square is that you can place 3 easily as a 60mm wide element using magnets and a metal thin base underneath or the equivalent. |
