Has anyone experimented with these on 15mm figures?

I saw someone had posted an article about doing some 15mm WWII infantry that turned out quite nice. Certainly worth a try I'd think. Happy hobbling!

They work fine on any scale figure. In essence they are a deeply pigmented wash.

I am doing all of my 6mm Soviets with a pot I bought as an experiment. Prime white, then wash the whole figure with the contrast paint (since their uniform is all one color, easy to do). Let dry, then paint details – flesh, helmet, boots, webbing and gun:

The main issue is they need a decent amount of surface area and lots of nooks and crannies. They don't work on flatter surfaces, so some pants, for example, may not come out well.

They will work well on 15mm figs. I've used them on a variety of 15s.

Contrary to popular belief they do work pretty well on flat surfaces. I use them on the armour of my AT titans and used them on a 28mm scale Shadowsword and was very pleased with the effects.

I also was pleased with them in 6mm. Mind you, I was doing 8th Army in desert gear. I doubt they'd save as much time in Napoleonics.

Nice painting Extra Crispy.
Yes, I have used quite a bit lately. I just painted Skythians from Forged in Battle, Polish from Old Glory and 7YW Irish in French service, all in 15, using a combination of paints including a fair bit contrasts. They have sped up my painting and look really good (if I do say so).

With a bit of work, they work very well on flat surfaces:

Extra Crispy, what color did you use on your Soviets?
