Land rovers ,Unimogs, any Russian truck ,Gaz.Urals,Kaz;z.,Mercedes trucks and Toyota Landcruisers and Hillux;s.Basically anything they can get there hands on. |

My African rebels appear to have a high proportion of badly converted Hot Wheels vehicles with big guns bolted on the back. Seriously, a truck is a truck, does it actually matter what sort? |

The Somalis in the UNOSOM II 'era' used a variety of German and Italian trucks as well as ex-U.S. 6x6s for their guntrucks. Technicals could be ex-U.S. Jeeps, Land Rovers, various Hi-Lux, and various Land Cruisers, many of which look quite a bit like 1960 era Jeeps. link |
