Today a small report about early NVA – People's army of the former German Democratic Republic – uniforms, and a miniature tip for 20 mm figures.
Report in german and english.

Considering that we are finding them in Iraq and Syria, I'm assuming that the East Germans surplused them out when the NVA re-armed with AKs.
