I know this has cropped up in past years, but can anyone suggest where I can currently get cavemen in either of these scales, either in metal or plastic? |

I used these same Tim Mee Cave Men figures as AD&D Hill Giants. The tan figures had their non-skin bits painted with craft acrylic paints (I left the skin portions unpainted, relying on the Royal Walnut stain to shade it properly, nice and unwashed look). Then I applied The Dip technique (Minwax Polyshades Urethane Stain) to them. Worked really well, really fast, to get them on the table. Not a lot of detail on the figures, but The Dip really enhances what details are present. These figures are 54mm tall, by the way. Cheers! |
