I have been swapping 10mm to 28 mm figs into my ostensibly 15mm fantasy army for a long time. Need a frost giant? Go to the 28mm Vikings. Want lots of tiny goblins….go find the 10mm figs. |

I use 10mm to 28mm for my 15mm Fantasy armies, 28mm trolls make great giants. I am just about to build a 15mm Giant army using GW Ogres. I bought a load off of EBay, mainly painted but I will be touching them up and repainting a few. They should look quite nice on the table, I hope |

The only problem that I have with using 28mm figs for 10mm is that the equipment is all scaled at 28mm. For animals and creatures that isn't a problem, but when you use humans as giants, then everything they have is at the scale. An easy fix though is to sacrifice some 15mm figs and cut some things like heads and weapons and make them "trophies" on the giant. |
