The Gentlemen Wargamers were graced with the presence of a Guest Commander for this game: none other than Mike Whitaker, of "Meeples and Miniatures" and "The Miller's Tale" podcast fame. The scenario was an episode in the series we call "Oudinot's Day Trip to Berlin", based on actions in the northern sector during the 1813 campaign in Germany. As you will see, things did not turn out very rosy for Le Marechal (me, actually) but the day was, nevertheless, full of good memories.
Miniatures were 10mm, by Old Glory, Magister Militum, Pendraken and AiM. Rules were Napoleonic Command II. More pictures here (with explanatory captions, if you click into slideshow mode): link Enjoy, Jeff |

Reinforces my decision to switch to 10mm. Looks right. Jeff was instrumental in getting me to switch to 10mm. A decision I don't regret. |
